Remodelling the rear section of 2 wheels - R850R, BMW R1150R, designates the base, the automatic ascent and descent lamp of the wheel chair of the 2005 Conquest 850. At driving position, the wheel chair was locked safely with "the EZ LOCK" docking system. With only both hands, you can start to motor freely by saying the "yes” command‚ È trike, without using the foot.

Rear-end Details?

Ok, so it's not my cup of tea either, but does anyone know what they've done at the rear end for a diff, and/or how they've introduced reverse? I'm considering using an 1150 for a project, but need reverse without spending a fortune.

Welcome aboard Brad. [welcome] So happy to have you here.
That reverse function is very important. Can't just end up w/ another "Reverse" command. What if the biker was on the cell phone and said, "YES, YES, YES!"

I agree with the jet ski image, but lets leave the handicapped out of it. Are those handle bars a bit loooooooooong too?
Handicapped IS the whole purpose of the design. This a bike designed for wheel chairs. This is explains the looks, design, long handlebars, etc.

" The Conquest is based on the BMW R850R and it's the first mass-produced, high-performance trike that can be driven from a wheelchair, the result of four years of Martin's blood, sweat and tears. It comes with reverse - essential for a trike of this size - and other extras to make it a real cruiser."

They really spent some time on making the impossible possible. Nice Job! It gives the wheelchair population more opportunities to experience what a biker's life is like!

Nice find Kirby! [:)]
