This is one of topics of the Frankfurt motor show. From 2006, the car will be competing in the FIA WTCC and in many other national Touring Car championships around the world. The base of course the new model 3 series (E90). 275bhs is shown with M corporation make 4 cylinder in-line engines. The car complies with the Super 2000 regulations and is 45mm longer and 36mm wider than its predecessor the current 310i E46.

This racing version of the special model BMW 320si will be on offer from BMW dealers as a limited edition from December 2005.

been a bit busy to comment, saw the thread a while ago. When i heard news of the car's first showing i was actually looking all over the web for it. This thing is quite a little monster, i am one of the few who kinda likes the look of the E90, although still it doesnt hold true 3 series genes (atleast to me). With this kit, it still looks a tad like an executive on steroids (that isnt necessarily a bad thing). But man, that engine... sheesh. I dont really get to see the touring cars from here in canada, but ill probably indirectly be following progress to see how it fares to the competition (who are the competition these days anyway?).

Having said all this, i still do not understand why BMW does not partake in DTM like Audi, Benz and Opel... It baffles me...

Btw. I love the M Paintjob on the car, looks fantastic
