Nice vid, Dan.
I wonder what it is like to see the color of the blood. Maybe that would add some feeling to the man. He seemed like he was cold-blooded or even bloodless!

In a sense, my experience was also run-flat bloodless. It hurt like hell, and I hobbled instead of running. But when I took off my sneaker, there was no blood AT ALL. On closer inspection, A PLUG OF RUBBER from the sneaker sole was in the hole!!!

I went to the doctor to have it looked at. He pulled out the plug and it bled like crazy! And of course, the Auslander's above mentioned tetanus shot was required.

Funny commercial!

Yeah, one time when I was in FL, there happened to be a nail sticking upwards in the grass. The bottom of my foot scraped against it so the cut itself wasn't too bad. To tell you the truth, the actual injury was the easiest part of the whole thing. I had to go to the hospital to get stitches. I got a tetanus shot which wasn't bad at all, but then this guy came in and had to inject a numbness shot (I guess he was an anesthesiologist?), but guess where? He had to inject the needle into the cut on the bottom of my foot and he had to do it in several locations. Oh gawd, talk about pain... [:(]

I know that hurts. I had a nail go into foot before and had to get a tetanus shot. I also broke my to before and one of the worst pain in the world is when the doctor, for what ever reason, had to stick a needle into the bone of my big toe and inject/extract something. I was young, but I am sure, even with the "numbing" medicine, that just about the whole hospital could hear me screaming. It was and still is the worst pain I have ever felt.....
