Hard to get a photo of me drifting, I was the camera operator...haha. I wish my wife had been there she could have photoed me, oh well next time.

Tim there were two Porche 996's there, one was the GTR version...oh baby talk about fast! Then there was a 911 twin turbo that was also fast.

It is beautiful and sunny today again.............oh I might have to head down to the track, but first my truck needs a wax job. I'll let you know how it goes, it is too bad I have to live just about a mile from the track....oh bummer!

I should drop the M off at your house one night to have to wax it and pick it up in the evening...hehehe [;)]

I finished the wax job and decided to paint the calipers and rear drums on the truck. I then went over to the track and it was "closed" as they are still making repairs on the walls and fencing. Oh well, good excuse for a long drive home down off Black Diamond Road.

Scott it depends on who has the track rented. Yesterday was ProFormance Driving Schools. I believe they were charging about $150.00 for the day and considering there were no more than a 12-18 cars out there you could get tons of track time. I know some guys went home early just because they were too tired to drive anymore! (Is that possible?)

On occassion when the BMW Club rents the track I think a single day school runs $150 as well. There is one coming up in March, it's a novice school, what to go?

Bring it over, I'll do it for you. Give me a couple of days notice and I will be more than happy to detail her for you. It's one thing I love to do!
Wow, that is an offer I can refuse, but I guess I would have to stay and help since I have no way home. I haven't waxed a car in so long I could always use some pointers....

On the novice track day. Let me know. Since I bought the car my wife has had me on a strict budget and that is a lot of money, but I would love to go. I will have to run it by her first. The first thing we need to do is hook up (I know we keep saying it, but I really do want to get together) and shoot the S#!t with you. All my friend are not into cars (even the one with the vert. M3, I sometime wonder why he bought it) even my brother. It is tough having a M and not having anyone to talk about cars with.

We could always go to the novice day and observe, that is free. You can learn a lot just watching as well. We have any more beautiful days like the last two and the roadster comes out of hibernation for good!
