I think I did this in the newbie forum, but I think the photos should be here! :)

Happy new owner of a pre-owned 2000 323i alpine white sedan, tan interior.

I threw new 18" M3 wheels and performance tires on, drastic improvement!

Manual 5speed, I get goosebumps every time I get into it to drive! I haven't driven stick in 8 years or so, it's been fun learning again!

Winding dry roads be upon you all! [:D]

tnks for the tip gbf1|m, I fixed it up. :)

MG, I got a good deal from a local wheel/tire shop, the M3 rims go for around 2k, I got them new w/ Pirelli Pzero Nero's on them, balanced, mounted, and high speed balanced for $1850 (I think I caught them on a verrry off day..) I'm liking the gunmetal color, looks better to my eye then the Chrome ones woulda (They tossed one of each on while it was in the air so I could get an idea of what it'd look like).

My experience with Z rated tires is that you never get the full treadwear life (I don't the way I drive, at least). On tires that claim you'll get 30,000 miles, I generally get 22-25k. These tires are generally all 220 or 280 treadwear (treadlife, Kumho's, and Michelins I've had before). These Pirelli PZero Nero's treadlife is 440, the biggest by far I've seen on any Z rated tire ever. The guys at the shop were raving about them, I think the 'Nero' is the brand or type that has the awesome treadwear. I've had em 3 weeks, and I still have the little nips all over the rear and front tires. Time will tell, If they really somehow last past 30k miles(or more), I'll have found a new tire to get.
