Okay, it's definitely NOT a V8 eater. Even with 15% drivetrain loss, that is around 135bhp and that is just not much at all. The price is absolutely insane. I think this guy just wants his money back for all the money he put it into it, but he is dreaming....

i dynoed my 88 325is when it was still stock, 134 hp at the rear wheels. and if he had internal work done, it should be even more.

I saw that one for sale a while back, either auto trader or ebay, dont remember. but he needs a swift kick in the ass if he thinks he is gonna get that much, i wouldnt offer anything over 5K.

Dude, for what he's asking for, you can get a good condition E36. No point in trying to negotiate a few thousand (at most) off an E30 that costs more than 2 times as much as it should.

Yeah mate that exhaust looks suss to me... I dunno why, just looks a bit "bolt-on" for my liking. And for the kilometres he's written 1,500 km. He obviously is only talking about what his reco'd engine has done.

Of course, you'd have to check the car out yourself to see if it really is the s**t because if it is, then $11,950 is quite a good E30 price. My E30 318is was about $17,000 and a mates 318is went for about $12,000 so I don't think the price is completely unreasonable. If you could get him under $10K then i reckon you'd be doing well. All this depends on what the car's like, of course.

Have fun driving to NSW - they have the SHITTIEST roads ever! [hihi]

And yes, we do get screwed in OZ with BMWs. I still can't find an E34 M5 Evo (6 speed tranny). Sooo annoying.

Guys, it is in australia so it is australian currency which is not american dollars. You can't say it is too expensive when you don't really have a clue how much it is. Just my opinion to the ones in US.
