Haha.... don't mind me. I just turned into a 5 year old again. I bid on some plates from Germany on eBay to put on my car a couple weeks back and I just got it in the mail today. I literally popped it on and took some pictures in the last 5 minutes...

...maybe I'm a little too excited.

Haha.. thanks guys. I love the plate too...

...I've been wanting one for my car for a while now. I ordered one from Europeanplates.com but he was a fake. He ended up taking my money and told me I didn't pay him after I sent him all the paypal receipts and what-not. I was a little down after that and then I saw it on eBay for a fourth of what I payed and gave it a shot. I'm happy I got it.

The only thing I have to gripe and complain about is that it blocks a little bit of my foglamps. Just the top corner, but that isn't too bad.

Nonetheless, eBay is the best!

Thats great! very fitting for the car, i recently took mine off because of how bad the condition they were in... i miss having my plate on mine because it was regestered in my families home town and it had some cool numbers on it.
i tried to get some old ones from family last i went, no luck.

I take it you have some sort of adapter bracket to mount the euro plate to the American plate holes? Where'd you get the bracket from and how does it fit? Does it have big gaps around it and between the bracket and the bumper? I'd love to put one of the original German plates that I have that were on our Mercedes when we lived in Munich on my car - they are MRK (Munich) plates and still have the 1987 registration stickers on them - perfect for my 1987 BMW!!

I got the bracket off of eBay as well. Just do a search for "Euro license plate bracket" and it should pop up. It was only 4.99 plus shipping so all-in-all it was about 25.00. It has a series of holes and what-nots on the back of it. One of the holes is bound to fit in. When I first put it on I thought it'd be a bit flimsy and fall off but when I mess about with it, it's pretty sturdy. *crosses fingers*
