Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the MINI? The MINI is certainly mad small on the inside, but it shouldn't be making any apologies...the name of the car is MINI afterall....

I like the "stretched" wheelbase, but won't know for sure until I see one live. I sat in one of the current models and it is plenty roomy, more so than my roadster. I havn't decided if I want one or not, we are considering a new car in 06 so we will see.

Yup, deffinately looks like that. I think it would even be better with 4 doors if they do produce a stretched model, otherwise it just doesn't look right, at least to me.

Very nice, its too bad the HP output wasn't pushed up a notch.
The 2007 MINI's will be more powerful. I don't think I'd want a MINI any faster than 0-60 in 6 seconds, though. FWD is not great for a lot of raw power and I feel like the MINI is one of those cars that truly preserves a balance of acceleration, handling, and braking.

Actually thats a reflection of a pole, if you look at the other pictures it doesn't show up in them. A four door Mini? no way...

If you look up close you'll notice that it shows up in two pics, the first and the third. Its seems tobe too straight and sharp for a reflection, at least to me it does.

Maybe its not a door seam but just a quarter panel seam, maybe they split it up to make the piece smaller, although it looks like it can't go any smaller. We'll see in 2007.
