Congrats on the car!! Take some more pics with a real cam, we'd love to see some nice high-res pics! Any specs on the car? With options, and what transmission?

thanks everyone :)
i will answer all your questions shortly,

here are tons of more pics in the meantime:

This time in the sun...

The rims look dirty in some of the pictures, and this is a real problem for me, they get dirty very quickly; so here's another question, what's the best way to keep the rims shining ?)

17'inch star-spoke styling (they look clean here, as this pic was taken earlier)

(i think the fin-like antennae at the top of the rear screen makes the car look 10 times more badass [}:)] [:D] )

Interior

Harmon kardon system

Exterior mirror package

I'm in love......... [driving2]

I'll try to take some real cam pics in the future :)

As for the added options:

Bi-Xenon headlights
Park Distance Control (extremely useful)
Sunroof
Group aerial antennae (the 'fin' at the top of the rear screen)
Star-spoke styling 119 17'inch rims
Multifunction steering wheel
Wood trim finish
Electronic seat adjustment
BMW Business radio
Harmon Kardon HiFi sound system
Climate comfort windscreen
Exterior Mirror package (folding mirrors)
Chrome exhaust tip (added at the dealer)

I have the Automatic steptronic transmission.
I would have gotten a manual, but I drive a 45 min trip to uni everyday and 70% of that trip is in dead traffic, so I thought the automatic would be a lot more comfortable...

Btw, since i mentionned uni, i'm turning 21...
Now before any of u screams 'spoiled brat',
keep in mind that this car is my present for being accepted into medschool,
so i'v really earned it...

My dad says the next car will be of my own money,
so i'm pretty determined to be successful
(so i can buy my own 6 series ~15 years from now [:p] [:D])

shoo hayda el 325 ;)

you have to get the clear corners

a7la mn el brt2aany :p
hehe 3ajbetak eh ? [:)]

I personally think the clear corners look great on the old Ci (2003 and before),
but i don't like'm on the new facelifted one.
The corners on the old one have this crystally look, but on the new one, they don't, and they feel sort of bland to me.
I think the orange ones look much better...

how is that car a 2005????
It is...
According to my dealer, all the 3 series arriving in june onwards are 2005.
I don't know about the rest of the world, but that's what it's like here in Lebanon...

It looks the same as the 2004 though,
but having it as a 2005 is great for the resale value... :p

What kind of attention and response does your BMW get in Lebanon? Does it stand in high regard like it does here in the states? I'm Lebanese but born in America but hope to one day travel there with my father(from Beirut). I own a 04 325cic and wondered how BMW stacked up over there since I hear there is more Mercedes than anything.

I've always thought it ridiculous that you can have a '2005' model before the year 2005. In New Zealand the 'year' of the car is determined by when it is first registered.

A brand new car bought in December 2004 will be a 2004 car!! Even if its the new build model of the 2005 models.

Congrats and [welcome]

NZL: It is strange how that works. A person can buy a 2005 now (several available here) and another can buy a 2004, register them on the same day and 1 year later the values will be different on the two cars.

However, a year down the road if both have 15,000 miles the 2005 may suffer a mileage charge that may reduce the value, given the current year model designation. Also, the in service date is often a factor to consider when looking at the “real age” of a car here and is still a factor.

Hi tih2k, always nice to bump into a fellow lebanese.

My car is actually held in very high regard here,
I get a lot of stares :)

But there are plenty of other amazing cars,
Basically, among the luxury cars, the most you see in this country are Mercedes's and BMW's
(the S class, E class, SLK, 5 series, X5, 7 series and now 6 series are everywhere)
Other cars you see a lot of are H2's (I see one almost every day), Porsches (especially the Cayenne), and Range Rovers.
The old 3 series (pre 03-04) is probably the most popular car in the country, but there are very few 04-05 Ci's, which is something I'm happy about, as it makes my car unique ;))

Btw, it's summer right now, and plenty of arabs from the wealthy arabs states come here to spend the summer and they bring their cars with them.
I saw a purple murcielago last week, and 2 days ago, i saw an SLR in front of the Phoenicia Intercontinental Hotel. i cried...

i took pics of the SLR with my camera phone, i'll put them up later if u guys want :)
