before

5000K HID in the low beams which were DEPO euro ellipsoids/projectors
3000K HID in the fogs which were OEM north american spec projectors from hella
all bulbs are h1 format with 35 watt HIDs

long story short one of the 3000K bulbs is messed up so while i warranty that i bought some new bulbs =]

after
5000K HID in the low beams which were DEPO euro ellipsoids/projectors
6600K HID in the fogs which were OEM north american spec projectors from hella
all bulbs are h1 format with 35 watt HIDs

here is a real close up of the cutoff pattern
i have the right side aligned a lil bit higher

here is same location a little further away

here's a nice shot giving you an idea of just how bright these are
as u can see this pic was taken well before sunset :D

one more shot
here u can see the HUGE difference in color temps
the 5000K look almost yellow in comparison to the fog lights
looking closely at the ground you can see different colors from
the two types of lights

I'd flash my high beams at you! Hey what is that white stuff piled up around the curbs, etc.?
the city confiscated some cocaine and unsure what to do with it distributed
evenly across the lawns of townspeople =]

Hehe, very nice hids, how much did you pay for the bulbs? I am soon going to try purchasing 7000-8000k bulbs for the ML, what brand too?
Is that your fathers new LR3 in the background?

well my mom's the one that drives it but ya =]

the 7-8k ones are gonna look kinda cool but
might get u in trouble with law, and they might suck as lights

most lumens are output 4-5k and above that u lose lumens

the big name brands, hella, phillips etc don't actually make a 8k
so the aftermarket places that do are in some people's opinions crap

i have some generic asain stuff in there and its bright and cheap so
i'm happy =]
