How much about did you pay for that sub install? It looks like it leaves you a lot of room in the trunk and the amp in the floor is pretty neat.

looks nice except im not sure if i like the red carpet, but thats just me i bet it gets really diirt
Dude what do you think i put in the trunk....garden tools? Dirty soccer cleats?
No and no...I put shopping bags in there and I have a piece of carpet cut that fits over the plexiglass to prevent deep scratches. I paid good money for that install besides the hours I put in myself and when you do your trunk like that you are damn well sure going to take care of it right?

Looks nice dude, and yeah that sub/amp install is slick.

The red is looking a little washed out - a good polishing will do wonders for BMW red.
Thanks for the compliment! That is Imola Red 2....was painted less than a year ago and it doesnt seem washed out me? First time I have heard that though........

@Miltant Grunt

They are a brand called "CMS" from here in Germany......very light "true" two piece rims with Titanium bolts. The center piece is supposed to be paintable but I dont know if I will leave it silver or go with Black.....I might consider it cause I havent seen an E39 like that....but someone would hate on me if I did that I think......

Yeah it may be the lighting wasnt correct or something....i dont know(shrug)....thanks Dave...just remember than you CAN do an install AND still have trunk space...but are you willing to pay the money to have it done right? Or are you willing to take the time to DO it right yourself? That is the big question people have to ask themselves.......I would have done it myself if i had the workshop(extra room in my apartment, garage, etc, etc...) to do it......

Very nice Adrean, any plans of going with a quad exhausts setup?
Tom I have thought about, trust me I have.....but I foresee a couple of "bumps in the road" if you will......First finding a place that makes a functional quad exhaust set-up specifically for my model....I dont want just the optics it would have to be proper you know? Second is that I spent an arm and a leg for the exhaust I have now....ok I still have my arm and leg but it wasnt cheap at all....It is made by Remus but it is a special model (Romulus) that is like their top-o-line stuff......and then once I get quad I need the M5 diffusor or a whole new rear bumper/skirt......mo money, mo money, mo money.....sigh....work on my car will never be done...here is the short list:

Hertz(Focal) 10" Subs - 450euros
Hertz(Focal) Front Component System - 150 euros
Audison Srx4 4-channel amp for Front System - 360euros
Alpine IVC-310 Multimedia Center - 1200euros
New Bilstein Rear Sport Shocks - 250euros(w/work)
Lowering Springs all-around(FK Automotive) - 350euros(w/work)
Upgraded Taillights - 200euros
Upgraded CAMS - 400euros/piece(so times 2=800euros...before work.....)
ESS Supercharger - 4000euros....(this is just a wish.....I will buy my M3 before I do this but if I keep the car forever I would probably do it just for kicks) [thumb]

I think the paint looks great. The color LOOKS like it's a bit off because of the lighting but if you checkout the hood shot, the paint is in great shape.

Jordan, that question was hilarious. Obviously adrean knew what he was getting into. For example, you don't buy a sports car when you're PLANNING to go off-roading, do ya?

Forgive me if my facetiousness gets in the way of graciousness....I have a tendency of pointing out to people what "common sense" would be.......check some of my other posts! I think I single handedly stopped some G35 and Bimmer owners from arguing online with common sense facts![thumb]@MrElussive

LOL....lucky for you I am one of the few African-American males that has a "respectable" selection of rock music to listen to! Never know who is going to get in and gotta make 'em feel comfortable in da Bimmer! Of course I still have the bass thumping R&B/Hip-Hop/House in abundance![thumb]

Jordan, checkout my response, I basically stated that you do not do that trunk setup knowing you are going to throw gardening tools or anything like that into your trunk. adrean probably has one of the cleanest E39 5er's in Germany and if you do not like his trunk setup, well then....may BMW have mercy on your soul.
