Well, its been awhile and I've gone a couple exterior changes to dress up the little ladies 325i. Got all the windows a 50% tint & some 135M style wheels on Continental ContiExtremes. Not sure what to do next... thinking about painting the black 'ding protectors'. Suggestions?

Lookin good, I like the new wheels!

Don't paint your trim!! (I'm biased) I just don't think the trim looks good painted on white and silver cars, too 'bright' to me. On something dark, like any of the blue's, green, even red, it looks pretty clean.

Hmmmm... guess I have to photochop it to get an idea of what it would look like. I think you may be right...

Thanks for the comments guys! Two of the wheels are authentic BMW, the other two are knock-offs. The knock-offs are nice, but heavier than the BMW wheels and the bimmers also appear to be better balanced which in turn = better ride. My gal blew out two tires and banged up the rims on the freeway, thus we ordered two BMW rims since insurance way paying.

sweet!!! it looks like the ZHP now.

i would suggest getting some clears next. i'm debating myself if i should paint the side moldings. i like how the coupes have painted moldings.

actually, i think the trim would look great in body color.
The black line around the car divides the car and gives it vertical form. but if you were to remove the defining black line, you get a more rounded and streamlined look, which i think would be a nice touch for no body kit.

ive been trying to utilize this new psp8 software, but havent had the time to be able to produce something to prove to you that it could look good.

i love the rims tho! ...heh, nice remark matt ;)

Ever thought about clear lenses [scratch]
I have, but I'm not sure I like the look... almost seems 'ricey' to me. I've seen some cars I like it on, and other no... I'm so confused... I don't want to overdo it!!

EDIT: after reviewing http://www.hotbimmer.net/forum/showthread.php?t=9859 again, I'm really confused... [bigcry] I think I like it but not sure... you know what I mean?!

looks awsome dzervit, also you get good gas milage when your going 135.
HA! All photochopped... there was a thread on 'what's wrong with my sig'. The MPG needle was the biggest give away.. .can you see the other 3 mistakes? hee hee.. . I haven't had a stretch of road long enough to see what the meter would actually read. I need a road trip! Looks like its time to update the 'ol sig!

i give up what else is wrong
HA! The gas needle was a bad job, and doesn't meet the black center piece correctly. The two center speedo & tach centers do not have that little 'counterwieght' on them, and the top end is limited by a govener, not due hitting the redline!

Nice, Nice Nice.....looks very nice. I cannot wait for the new M5 rims to come out. They look just like the ZHP rims, only a little larger. I think I am definately going to get those. I was also thinking about getting the dual exhaust M5 style with the rear apron. Any input?

Nice car but looks like it's been Photoshopped..
How do you figure?! [scratch]

I'm reviving the thread since I spend over 4 hour last weekend preping, polishing, and waxing it. Below are the results. The paint never looked soooo good!

Oh, and I stained the fence, too!
