Beautiful vehicles!!

Your M3 Comp. is identical to the advertisement on the inside cover of Roundel - the one I drool over every time Roundel shows up in the mailbox....

Now that's sexy!

What is the 0-60 on the Alpina Z8??

Have fun and let me know when you want to let me drive it! HA!

[hihi]
I think his m3 is probably faster than the Z8. I dont like the wheels on the z8 but they are true to alpina fashion!

Nice lineup!

Thanks!! First time we have taken a picture of all 3 goodies together. The Alpina is rated at 0-60 in 4.9 and I think my M is 0-60 in 4.8. They are basically the same, but honestly the Alpina feels quicker (I think it just sounds "throatier".

Epj3- I wasn't too fond of the Alpina wheels at first either, but they really grow on you, and they are just so traditonally Alpina that you have to love them, and can neve change them. That would just be sacreligious. Some poor Bavarian in a little white coat at Alpina tuning would have a heart attack if he saw different rims on an Alpina :)

Love the cars and I love the Alpina wheels. I think I finally found a set of wheels I would hate to clean more than the stock M3 wheels. They look like a pain to clean. Just depends on how far apart the spokes are.....

Luckily the spokes on the Alpina are far enough apart that most fingers fit in between even with a fluffy rag pretty nicely. I think the 19 in. M3 rims are much harder to clean...but I think they look cleaner longer since the insides of the rim are like a powder coated or anondized grey colour. I love my M wheels.

Yesterday I say a new Jetta with the exact BBS wheels that are included with the Competition Pkg. Sure they are nice wheels, but if some guy in a Jetta can have them too....I don't want them on my M.

Thanks for all the cool responses....appreciate it. Hope everyone is enjoying what is left of the weekend!! Ughhh, Monday is nearing. At least that means getting to drive the new car [burnout]

Hell, I would go grocery shopping and intentionally forget stuff 3 or 4 times just to have an excuse to go drive those girls. (my bad if they are not females)

Yea, it was hard to tell from the pictures. I know what you mean about the M wheels. They are the reason I put off washing my car sometimes. I spend at least an hour cleaning the wheels alone. It sure is worth it afterwards however, it only lasts for about 2-3 car trips before they are already getting dirty again. [thumbd]

Adam, you really need to post some more pictures of the Alpina. We don't get to see many Z8 here much less an Alpina. Very nice looking vehicles (all of them). I love the BMW spirit... [thumb]

I'll def. take and post some pics of the Pina (our nickname for her). Sadly, we only have 2 pics of the Z8, and they are not very good.

Hope everyone is well, and the week has started off good.

P.S.

By the way I drove the X5 today. I thought is might sprinkle today [:D]

You should be ashamed of yourself abusing that poor X5 like that! You know she has feelings too.... [;)]

P.S. I would love to have that option. I just drive the Passport when it rains and sometime the M too.... [thumb]

Does the plate on the X% say "1 MPG?" If so, that's pretty funny.
Yeah [rofl] We had it on our G55, which was pretty much 1 MPG. Eventhough the X5 is much better, it is still pretty funny. Once in a while a hardcore enviornmentalist will come up and say "You think you are really funny, don't you? Wasting precious natural oil is not funny".

I am by no means an Earth killer, but our big 4.8is is a hell of a lot cleaner and more enviornmental than these big F350 and Dodge trucks that don't even come close to how clean and efficient BMW SAVS are!!!
