Does anybody know why some other posts contain file attachments that are far far larger than the max allowed file-size? There was one that has several pics of over 400kb each in a single post! It's really frustrating trying to attach files under 45kb.

Nice ride, the pictures greater than 400kb aren't uploaded to the forum. We limited the attachment size on the forum because we didn't want members with slower connections to be affected by the thread size.

There is a gallery section on the site that can take much larger images if you would like to upload additional images of your car.

Thanks for all the compliments, guys! [:)]

Vance...I don't know what % tint those are, they came with the car when I bought them. I would guess they are 20plus% (legal) coz' they are not dark enough! I wanted to put on darker, metal based tint, but would have to pay extra to take all these off, and strippin the rear tint might damage the de-fogger.

xLibelle,
What did you mean by "what frame model"? It's a e39 if that's what you meant.

Besides the DDE lights for my next mod, I am also debating if I should install a matching ACS rear lip spoiler which means I'd have to put in twin exhaust tips. What do you guys think?

As for clear corners for the lights, (front, side and rear) I know the orange looks outdated...but I kinda like them coz' orange seems to stand out on black. Already, the car is all black, with chrome accents here and there, I thought the orange is a good highlight to break the monotony.

This is a pic of my previous e34, with a metal-based tint (I don't know the brand name) with lifetime fade and bubbling warranty. I think it was 35%, but the slight metallic effect is very cool...blocks UV rays, your skin still feels cool with direct sun on it thru' the windows. Visibility is excellent from inside out. From the outside, privacy is super good, you can't look in without getting close and then blocking light out with your hands over your eyes!

As for my second question, how do I post a picture of my car on the forum?
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Jammer,
When you hit reply, there is an option right under the reply text window, where you can attach a pic file from your computer. Hit the browse button and attach the file from your computer.
