yep that's right, it's gone... here is the story

on Wednsday my friend and I had a set of 2 sets of wheels and tires mounted and balanced. I washed the car REAL well (better than normal) and mounted the rims on the car.

We dork around all day doing random earronds around town, including picking up his camera to take some pictures. we go back to my house where my landlord happens to be home. Since he is a professional photographer, he offered to take some real pictures of the car.

We go over to a spot in downtown fresno, and take pictures until after sunset. I haven't seen the pictures yet since he had to tend to the fam and thanksgiving readyness, but I think they turned out awsome.

anyways after that, we cruise around a bit, then end up at a friends house for a few hour's. After his family kicks us out (has younger sisters) all of us go to another friends house, and just BS till around 1:00am.

From there I drop my friend off, go home and crash.

In the morning, I get ready to leave for sacramento to visit family for thanksgiving. My Mother and grandmother were to pick me up where I would drive them up to sacramento.

I walk out to wait for them at around 8:30 and see that the M3 is not parked in the driveway like normal

WTF!

in about an hour a CHP officer shows up and makes a police report. He says that since the car seams to be rare, in his opinion, it's probably already stripped:sosad:

SO I've already started searching ebay and autotrader and such, but if anybody see's a silver M3 for sale, or any parts that seam a bit fishy, please please let me know so I can contact the authorities.

Also please get the word out so the car is less likely to disapear.

here are some pictures so they are a few months old, but the car was in the same state of apperance when I left it. I'll get pictures up of the photo shoot soon.

Here is a list of mods that were on the car when I last had it.

Suspension:
Ground control suspension (400/600lb springs)
bilstein shocks
GC rear shock mount towers
GC camber plates
sparco front strut brace
SBI rear strut brace

interior:
black interior (door pannels)
powdercoated silver 4-point roll bar
Red recaro SRD style seats
Fitipaldi stearing wheel
AC schnitzer pedals
carbon fiber dual guage a-pillar
BMP center console guage cluster
custom center console switch pannel

Exterior:
EVO III rear wing
DTM rear flipper (the big one)
E36 M3 LTW front carbon fiber splitter (pretty jacked up)
tinted windows on all windows minus windshield
95 E36 M3 20 spoke "motorsport" wheels

stickers on the car to help possibly identify it:
www.dtmpower.net sticker on both rear side pop out windows
jeasus sticker in the right rear corner
"joshua wilderness institute" on rear window where the 3rd brake light is located

ICE:
alpine CDA-7874 head unit
Focal coaxial speakers 130HC
Polk Momo tweeter in the stock tweeter location (sailboat pannel)
Two Zapco refrence 150 amps

There is probably other stuff on the car, but that is all I can think of off the cuff.

If you've gotten this far, thanks for reading my EXTRA long post!

The worst part is that it will probaby be torn apart and sold as peices, yet another wonderful E30 M3 dead. The real owner seems to have really taken care of it, but the theft probably sees it as a business item and not the great car that it is.

I feel pretty bad for the guy, he must be really upset. He'll either get it back in 48 hours or he'll never see it again. No theft tracking system?

If it gets stripped down for parts, hopefully the thieves will just dispose of that disgusting front lip. Sorry, I had to say it.

I'd feel the same way. Its hard to loose the car when its the kind of car that has a personality.

Off-topic but, did you ever get that ****** neighbor of yours back? I can't believe you let him scratch your car to hell and just sit there and take it, thats unbelievable. Obviously the cops aren't going to do anything, you have no proof. But you have to atleast slash his tires, or bash a couple of windows in, or salt/suger in the gas tank. Yea, definitly salt/sugar is what i'd do, that'd make me feel SOO good. "There are three basic ways that sugar in the gas tank is going to foul up someone's car. First, as you say, it will clog the fuel filter. Second, what gets through the fuel filter will clog the fuel pump. Finally, what makes it through the fuel filter and the fuel pump will completely foul whatever fuel delivery system your car uses. A carburetor that gets sugar in it is junk; you can strip it down and attempt to rebuild it but you likely will fail - it's a gummy, sticky mess. Your fuel injected vehicle will not fare much better when mucked up with the sticky stuff. This sort of vandalism will result in the car hesitating, losing power, and stalling. And repairs will not be cheap - replacing the fuel filter, dropping and draining the fuel tank, possibly a new carburetor or new fuel injectors. The latter two are very expensive, both in parts and labor."

nvm, do this, "Now, if you REALLY want to put someone out of commission, sand in the oil fill tube is the ticket. Once the sand gets sucked up by the oil pump, it will score the pistons and the chambers and make the engine scrap."

I'd weld his doors shut [:D] [:D]

Sand isn't easy enough - you gotta pop the hood. Just drain the coolant.

LOL!! You guys make me smile. No I didn't do anything; my car has actually been keyed 4 times now, and the dude is sometimes doing at school...the mfer is being ridiculous, but whatever. Latest activity is that my car got broken into, but nothing was stolen; not the changer in the trunk, not my camera (stupid for leaving it in the car, I know, I know), not my books, notes, gloves, jacket, etc. The seat was adjusted and the doors where left slightly ajar. So ANYWAY, I'm moving out of that neighborhood this Saturday!!!!!! I'm so freaking excited; the new house has a three car garage and it's extremely spacious; I think I could squeeze 4 cars if I tried. But my family and I are very excited to be moving out of that neighborhood; most of our other neighbors are pretty upset that we are moving, but what can you do?

On a bit of a sad note, my parents are forcing me to sell my car. They want me to get rid of it and get completely new tags and all that stuff. I've really babied my car and I took such pains to make sure it had been taken care of it's entire life, and now I have to sell it; I even installed a matching armrest, new non-fogged headlights, new radio, zr rated tires; it has a brand new front suspension that is an upgrade and it's really killing me to let it go. I put so much care and concern into that car and because of some ignorant shmuck I have to get rid of it; that upsets me, but whatever. On a positive note, my parents said that they will pay the difference between what I get for my car and whatever car I get in its place....hmmmm...porsche 911....LOL.

Sorry, I feel like I just had to get that rant out. And I also apologize if I jacked this thread; not intentional.

THanks for the concern, Sean

JB Weld tires to the ground. If you seriously want to get back at the dipshit, place thumbtacs right under each of his tires so when he backs out it picks them up. It'll be the most annoying thing EVER.

You're one saddistic dude! LOL. Hate to have you as an enemy. You're funny though. I don't really want to imitate what he did in any respect; I would much rather prefer to let some ironic twist of fate do get him rather than me. I honestly do not think this punk is worth my time. BUT I am enjoying all your sinister comments.

Thanks. Sean

I had this jack ass dude in highschool....he was a real prick so to get back at him for being such a useless asshole, a few of my friends poured dot 3 on his hood and put eggs under his sheepskin car seats and put super glue in his door locks. Messed up I know but it was a Geo storm and no tragic loss.

Thumbtacs are not long enough, get some roofing nails, strong, long, and have that nice big area to stand on. Then again, if you place enough thumbtacs around, they would stick to the whole aread of the tire and he would be driving on some inflated steel tires, that wouldn't be too safe.
