Last time I posted some pictures and information about my car a very small and certain few (no names mentioned) decided to question the existence of their even being a supercharger in my car....well it took a few weeks to get the pictures up b/c i wanted to get a better camera to take the pictures with and I wanted to clean the engine up a little also...here is a picture of the engine, Sorry for making you guys click on the link, the board would not allow me to post the picture b/c the file was too large...on a side note, the fan guard is off in this picture:

flashinthepan, The takeoff could not be more smooth...its doesnt need anytime what so ever to wind up, since its all belt driven and doesnt have the fan blades to wind up like a turbo does...I was racing a 325i the other night and my take off was actually smoother than his and I had the lead on him from the start...It was a good custom job they did...you can also see the intake at the top of the picture...you cant see the cone filter but its there....that was all custom since the people at K&N decided to never make a kit for my car

You may think I'm full of it but I'm not...he only had a Dinan Exhaust on his car and pretty much everything else was stock...I had the jump on him and he never caught up....I had about 3/4's of a car length on him the whole time...I couldnt pull away more than that but then he hit 135 and his Gov. kicked in and he had to back down (since I had the Dinan chip I could keep going)

i remember seeing your car already, unfortunately i am not sure if you mentioned your hp? and how much was the job?
that is something i envy you guys. supercharges and turbos are so dang expensive in germany that you really can't afford to get one unless you win in the lottery. and even then it hurts.

mikev It was a 1995 325 so an E36...yeah i was able to hang on and stay with him...after it was all over he asked me what i did to have the much power to beat him off the line and up until he hit the 135 mark, i didnt tell him I had the supercharger in before we raced

Wadula the SC was about 3450....the labor however was a whole ordeal...It is suppose to be a 5 hour job and a guy that lives a house down from me owns his own BMW repair shop (thats what the sticker is you see on the intake) he was going to do the job for me for basically nothing but 3 days later, yes 3 work days with a total of 13 hours of labor later they got it all together...it seems Downing Atlanta does not like to update their install manuals and there was some confusion from what it said and what really had to be done, I ofcourse paid him the full amount after that mess, so it came out to be around $650...the cold air intake was included in that..as far as the Hp goes, last time i posted how much it was some member of the board decided to go and start a personal attack on my car and stats, so without any of that this time (hopefully), it has 230 BASE Hp

i'll get more pics up with in the next few days and give you a heads up...as far as the rims lol.....15 is stock and leight weight so that why i kept them that size (they weight 15 pounds each) and the tires...i wanted to get ones that would be as flush with the car as possible so as to avoid it looking too much like a toys cars tires

Looks nice and neat...observation however...to make that car look really sick...invest in new rims that don't require so much rubber. You are definatley on your way. [thumb]
