Yep the one from the rear with the Cali plates was right after purchasing the car, the latest is the last one in my signature, but the others are from this past summer.

Yeah my car is pretty much bone stock since I have to save money to go overseas next year [bigcry]. I'd love a Schnitzer chip, Kaiser cat-back exhaust system, lightened flywheel... These will come at some stage. Here are some pics (mine is the red one:

I love it!

No offense dude but dump the M badge please.
Trust me I've tried to get the bloody thing off. It's somehow integrated into the front platic slats so it won't budge... The idiot that had the car before me put it on, and I've already taken the one off the back!! You got any idea how to get this mother off?

Here's my beat up shit box! Just haven't had interest in fixing it up yet (Debating spending the $$ to get the bodywork done next spring or just buying another car. I would go mtech everything though...and most likely forced induction???)

1989 535i 5 speed 133k miles
3.91LSD (stock was a 3.46LSD)
Dsylvia Tech (Mark D.) Chip
Z3 1.9 shifter (Cheap short shift kit...)
Depo E1 Headlights
Replaced the suspension 1 week ago and the shimmy that went away is now back and worse than before (grr stupid bushings).

It's definitely a "50 foot car" [hihi]

Eric, is that a huge dent in the passenger side rear quarter panel? And if so when did that happen. I don't remember it being there when you bought the car.....

It could be just the lighting, but it sure looks like a big dent....

Here's a couple of links to my POS. [;)]

M3 # 1

M3 # 2

I haven't taken any newer ones since the car is dirty as hell and I am to lazy to wash it. It's been garaged for what seems like a couple of months now and I need to take her out and give her the loving she truly wants and needs.

I have some I took when I went to Concours, but I don't think I ever posted them. I will soon now that I remember....

Overcast skies does not do this color justice at all....

Enjoy...

hahah ding was from a mailbox accident, its not NEARLY as big as it looks in the pics, the reflections make it look bigger. I was quoted $800 from probably the most reputable european bodyshop in the state to fix it. I'm just waiting for spring to get the whole car fixed. Insurnace gave me $1200 but I used it for the 20D, not the car [clap]

I agree that M3 is a piece of crap, my 220hp 535i could totally walk it. [:p]

Chesty, please take a close up angled shot of the M badge. My belief is that it has a bolt-type construction in which there is a threaded screw goign fromt he back of the badge through the grill into a nut. So try and find the nut and unscrew it and then it should just fall off!

I tried that hey but no go! I will have another look tomorrow because it is starting to sh*t me. I get loads of complaints from little 18 year-olds saying "that's not an M3!" Well no sh*t Sherlock.
