Ultimate BBS rim saga

So one of my tires started going flat, and I eventually found the cause was one of my BBS rims had cracked. The rims were over 10 years old, plus I bought them used from a friend, so I figured it was a good time to upgrade. So I perused the ol' bbs website and found what I think to be a very awesome wheel, the RG-R, in ever elusive bright silver paint. The one problem, however, is I only have three wheels. There literally is no 4th wheel; it has yet to be forged. sweeeeet for me. They said they aren’t going to make another batch until they get enough orders, so theoretically it could be a while. Hell, it's already been 7 months! Although I found it hard to believe there literally weren’t 4 wheels in all of America, I emailed the North American BBS retailed and he confirmed it. Although it will be awesome when I eventually get all four wheels, because they look great and apparently are *extremely* rare, I think if anyone else here wants new rims they should order these, so BBS has enough to fill the order. In the mean time, here are a few pics of my car with 18x8.5 RG-R's on the back, and 18x8 RX's on front.

Those are the wheels I want for my M. I am not ready to purchase (lack of funds especially for what they ask for them) and will have to wait. There are a couple more I like as well; LM's CH's, and/or the Competition package BMW wheels (can't remember the # of the wheel). Those are great looking wheels. I will need a much larger wheel too.....

Good Luck!

Yeah, I like the LM's and CH's as well. And the RXII's. Interestingly, I called several wheel deelers in southern california, and they all quoted me anywhere from $650 - $700 a wheel. But strangely, on tirerack.com they were $575. So I took a printout of that to discount tire and said can you do this for their price and they agreed. Since then, they've skyrocketed up to $706 on tirerack. I guess it was a good thing I paid upfront. [cheers] also, you mentioned needing a larger wheel than 18? what do you need 19? putting 20's on an m would seem a bit much, at least to me, also would they even fit? Well, anyway, maybe you can try to pull a similar scheme on a store near you.
