Oh boy, am I falling in LOVE with this car!!
Here's the first pic taken at the dealership (still has red birthday ribbon attached)
It's a 2004 Orient Blue/Sand 330ci Convertible (yep, that's the HARD TOP accessory
you see) with ALL packages/options - my spouse went ALL out for my early 50th birthday
present

Thanks! I can't believe it's mine!! I keep checking the garage to make sure it's not a dream.
<---lol!
I can't believe how FAST this car is! I bought it for it's LQQKS, but it's handling and speed just blow me away. We didn't get to test drive this particular model before buying. I just
assumed it would be similar to my older BMW. I just *know* I'm nearer to getting my first
speeding ticket.

Scenario:
"Officer, I STG I can't tell how FAST I am going!"

"uh huh, here's your ticket, see you in court"

Very Nice! Great choice on getting the hardtop. Have you decided where you are going to store the hardtop over the summer? If you're still trying to figure that one out, I highly recommend the hardtop hoist (I don't work for them, just a satisifed customer). It gets it up out of the way of dust and accidents - <<<<<

Thanks everyone!
Kirby, appreciate the input! My husband had to build a lift after learning all the hardtop storage accessories were back ordered. After frightening the pants off of me, we jointly decided it would be safer stored vertically, and off site (we rent a couple garages).
We already have 3 cars stuffed into our home's 2 car garage. 2 on the ground and one up on a lift.
I'll have to take a picture of the dangling hardtop - lovingly wrapped in moving van quilts. We're just afraid someone might get the idea to cut it down from it's rooftop perch, should we mistakenly leave the garage door open for any length of time.
How much does the roof weigh, do you know? With my arthritis, we didn't want to risk my losing my grip. We let the pulley absorb all the weight. Since it shipped on the car, we really have no clue how heavy it is (or isn't!) We've got the BMW vertical storage "rack"and cover on order.
TIA!

The hardtop weighs around 75 - 80 pounds. Before I got the lift, my wife and I took it off. It isn't too bad, but it does require a little wiggling and bumping to get it on or off. There are 4 pins that fit snuggly into the mounting points.
