A bit late but cogratulations. The E46 M3 is one gorgeous car. I always seem to gawck a it whenever I see one on the road. I keep saying in my head, "one day, one day".

makes perfect sense. seems its just another case of the users thinking they know more than the engineers. i'd prolly be another one of them, but i'd say 90% of the competition package buyers are getting it, not so much for the actual track improvements, but because of the cool factor associated with the competition package.

almost like new cls owner complaining about having a cardboard trunk floor and harsher ride... if that's even possible...

Right on. It is like a priveledge for the M3 Competition Package to come with those BBS lightweight wheels...I would certainly not say no to them.

Don't get me wrong, I love the standard M3 wheels very much and I would find it hard to part with them, but those are just hot. I have always love that style even before they started putting them on the CSL....
