exactly, that ain´t heineken in that picture. the truck spilled some grolsch all over the place. and yes, grolsch is a good drink.

someone mentioned becks, all the way baby. good stuff [thumb] then i heard a lot about corona and heineken. also two very good ones. i really love to drink a bottle or two sitting in our diner here...just rounds up the picture.

when it comes to pils beer from germany, i suggest to give krombacher a try. amazingly good selling and tastes real fine. bit is a bit too harsh for my taste. a real man´s beer [hihi]. anyone ever tried a an "altbier"? tool? frankenheim or diebels? what do you think.

But besides all these beers...there is only one real king...manuel...pray for me now....it is SHINER BOCK!!!! [headbang]

Tim, as you know every freakin town, ort, and stadt has its own brewery.....I believe I was told that a person could drink a different brand of beer everyday for 10 years and still not tried all the brands in Germany. We have a very unique beer from Bamberg, I do not know how to spell it but it sounds like Shrangala...it is a rauch bier (smoked Beer) and it tastes like smoked ham.

Best beer in my opinion is Becks Dunkle and absolute worst beer EVER is Ranier....Big daddy should know a little somethin' about that.

I think Rainer fits right in there with Schmidt's, Hamms, and some of those other fine bottom of the line beers. I try a few micro brews on occassion, but I grew to love BitBurger and prefer it.

heck yeah, there are bars that have nothing else but beers...and they are multiple hundreds on tab or bottled. that´s really insane. deutsch100, radeberger is quite good, ia gree. how did you like köstritzer? it´s brewed right next to dresden, in köstritz of course. a dark but sweet one. though this is not really what mankind expects from a beer, it is somehow very good. party drink.

who said DOS XX??? oohhhh i feel so homesick now [hihi]

I was in Holland last month for a soccer tournament and all they had was Grolsch....not a Heineken to be found...We were told by the locals that it is a regional thing....sortof like West Coast vs. East Coast. For example you wouldnt find as much Grolsch in Amsterdam as you would Heineken because of where it is located. Anyway I didnt like Grolsch as much as Heinie's anyway......And why hasnt anyone mentioned Erdinger????
